2. General information
We take the protection of your personal data seriously.
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
This website is used for the pre-launch waitlist of SNUMAG. We only process personal data to the extent necessary to operate the website, manage the waitlist and communicate with users who have explicitly consented to receive launch and early-access emails.
3. Data collected when joining the waitlist
When you join the SNUMAG waitlist, the following data may be processed:
- Email address
- Selected product color
- Date and time of registration
- Country code derived from the request header
- Information relating to your consent to receive email communications
The country code is used only in a general form, for example “DE” for Germany.
The IP address itself is not stored in the waitlist database.
4. Purpose of processing
We process the above information for the following purposes:
- managing the SNUMAG waitlist
- recording your preferred product color
- providing early-access information
- informing you about the SNUMAG product launch
- sending related product updates where you have given your consent
- preventing duplicate waitlist registrations
- displaying an aggregated public waitlist counter
The publicly displayed counter only shows the total number of registrations. No personal data is publicly displayed.
5. Legal basis
The processing of your email address for launch, early-access and related product communications is based on your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You provide this consent by actively selecting the consent checkbox before joining the waitlist.
The checkbox is not pre-selected.
The current consent wording is:
“I agree to receive emails from SNUMAG about the product launch, early access and related updates. I can unsubscribe at any time.”
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.
Where personal data is technically processed in order to provide and secure the website, such processing may be based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest being the secure and reliable operation of the website.
6. Withdrawal of consent
You may withdraw your consent to receive SNUMAG emails at any time.
You can do this by contacting:
Once an email distribution system is used, marketing emails will also provide an unsubscribe option.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
